FROM JOLYON AND MUZAFAR ('The Staging Post' Film folk)

Update and request for volunteer online teaching help from CISARUA LEARNING - ReadOn:

Fire, Rain & Online Classes.

Happy New Year to all…..thankfully the rain has finally arrived! All our best wishes to those who have been affected by the fires like our friend Joy Windle in Bairnsdale. Remarkably her house survived! (Photo: Rosie Broughton)

We are still buoyed by your incredible support last year and, in Cisarua, the schools are already back to work. This year we are expanding our advanced online classes and we are looking for Australian and International teachers to volunteer for 1 or 2 hours of online teaching each week.
Over the past 5 years the community has done a remarkable job building a highly-functioning primary and lower-level high school. Our (good) problem now, is that our advanced students have reached the same level as the teachers and we need to find a way to increase the knowledge base within the community.
If you might be able to help or would like to know more, please email admin@cisarualearning.com. The classes will take place between 2-5pm in Cisarua, which is 6-9pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
More 2020 plans and a Global Refugee Forum review coming shortly.
