Sha Sarwari is a multidisciplinary visual artist born in Afghanistan who has been living in Australia since the year 2000. Sha will be sharing the process and motivation behind his most recent works that speak of existing between two worlds, longing and belonging, with a pointed reference to the political discourse around refugees and migration, identity, place, memory, nationhood and personal lived experience.

We are looking forward to welcoming members of the refugee community to the exhibition including Mercy organisations; Romero Multicultural Centre and Mater Refugee Health Services.
